Peek-a-Babe was established in 2006 by Melanie Reyneke, a qualified Sonographer with a vast amount of experience in the ultrasound field. She qualified as a Radiographer in 1997 and then specialized in Ultrasound after a further two years. She then jetted off to the United Kingdom and gained extensive experience over there, training Radiologists, Gynaecologists and other Sonographers.
“As a mother I felt I didn’t get enough information from my gynaecologist, I wanted to know everything, the length of her foot and whether she had hair or not. I was sure there were other parents feeling the same, so I decided to focus on the parents’ needs. Peek-a-Babe will help you treasure every moment!” -Mel Reyneke
After residing in Gauteng for 2 years, Mel moved back down to Cape Town, her hometown! She is based in Goodwood has two beautiful little girls. She is passionate about her career and enjoys every scan with the parents, grandparents and friends!
Peek-a-Babe 4D Scan has been given a practice number! This means the scans are covered by most medical aids!
